Trip to New York City (2)

The picture below, which features the subway, looks cool isn't it HA HA HA. But anyway, the subway stations look old and worn out.... But to be honest, their subways come very frequently & it's efficient!

Subway @ 72street ;)

A photogenic picture of my father which  I offered to take HA HA.
Was on our way to find western vegetarian food & we had to walk a loOooOooOOooOooOOOOOoog way from the station to the restaurant. However, it wasn't a wasted trip as I got to see many interesting things on the way :D
Even the scaffolding in NYC looks glam. LOL.
On the way to the restaurant, I saw a few cool car plates which are featured below!
I figure the car owner is doing an advertisement HAHA.

Cat eyes as the front car plate ;)

This is the genuine and authenthic NYC car plate I assume!
Below are pictures of the yellow school bus which are often featured in American movies/dramas etc. I know I'm kinda kiasu but I took the front, middle & back view of the yellow school bus! Literally went crazy cuz I was so happy to be able to find a stationary yellow school bus.

So we finally got to our western restaurant. They kinda called themselves a cafe but whatever ~ below are pictures of our scrumptious lunch in NYC :)
Nectars, China Cola & The famous Snapple

My Snapple drink with Cabonara :)

The pizza was huge and it tasted heavenly.
The crust of the pizza was the best part. It was totally crispy on the outside, yet soft and fluffy on the inside. IT WAS SO HEAVENLY. I want to eat the pizza again :(

But anyway, we headed to Columbus Circle & came to this supermart. Prepare to be surprised as the products they offer and the way they arrange their merchandise is totally different from our local Singapore supermarts.
Real flowers, they smelt sweet ;)

My mother, brother, & me
Oh, at the supermart, they have numerous kiosks looking like the picture below. They are able to kind of 'customize' their own salads and own sauces and bring it to the cashier to pay. Other kiosks include staple food and vegetables, similar to Singapore's mixed vegetable rice! Just that it is offered in their supermarts.

Their chocolate cake looks so................ NAISE. I don't know how else to describe it because I'm getting hungry even by looking at this picture *cheeky smile* My mother didn't allow me to buy it cuz it was big and we already had leftovers at home (sadly)
The heavenly looking chocolate cake I didn't get to try :(
Oh after you see the picture below, give a guess what these little pink cute plastic bottles contain! STOP READING HERE. GIVE IT A GUESS FIRST, THEN CONTINUE. Did you guess what they are? They are pomegranate seeds with a small spoon attached at the top of the bottle. Cute or cute? HAHA.
Pomegranate seeds
Everything in the supermart was so organised and everything just appealed to the buyers. The feeling it gave me was that I felt like buying everything there. Everything looked so organized and clean. Even the fruits appear pretty. Below are pictures of cut fruits in big containers and small containers. It is all cut up in bite sizes and it makes it so much easier for the consumer to pop the various cut fruits in their mouth!

The apples look pretty too! Maybe because of the way they were placed & arranged. It looks so organized! IT REALLY APPEALS TO THE BUYERS! (well, maybe only me)
Boys who work out at gyms & feel like fulfilling their caffeine or juice craving might love to choose these drinks instead of the normal not-so-healthy coffee drinks & fruit juices. THESE DRINKS BELOW ARE PROTEIN PLUS. Cool huh? HAHA

LOOK AT THOSE VEGETABLES. The way they are placed looks so beautiful!!!
BTW, another guessing session. Guess what the thing is below! HAHA, did you get it right? It's a plastic bag :) below the picture is another picture of the plastic bag but it's opened! Looks super big :D
THE CAPSICUM LOOKS SO GOOD & PRETTY TUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!! OMG.
Below are pictures of my mother, my brother & I with our shopping bags! H&M is kinda cheap there & they were having lots of offers and sales going on at that time :)

MY BRO DOING AN OBSCENE POSE TO A MAN STATUE. People around him, like at the mall, were laughing HAHA. Well, that's a good thing about being a kid because not much people would judge you :)

My brother & I outside the mall :) The christmas lights were up!

Sunset @ NYC

Dinner that very day!
Below is a picture of my buys for the day! The bowler's hat is 5$ from H&M, together with the golden bobby pins :) Two sets of leg warmers, a new york diary, a new york magnet, & two pictures of famous New York scenes :D
The apple pie tastes totally different! Which was kinda sad.... This apple pie is placed in a rectangular box and the surface of the pie isn't crispy at all! Its smooth, which is very similar to a real pie, unlike Singapore Mac's apple pie. However, I would prefer Singapore's Apple pie over NYC's apple pie :)
Apple Pie in NYC's mac!

TOODLES. That's all for the second post about NYC! Stay tuned for the third NYC post :D Sorry there are just too many things to share! Hope you enjoyed the post :) GUDNIT x
